
Transportation Driver
Role Overview:
Our transportation drivers are key to helping residents stay safe, independent, and connected. Whether it’s getting to a doctor’s appointment, a day program, or a social outing, they make sure every ride is smooth, on time, and comfortable. With a focus on safety and respect, our drivers always show up with a friendly attitude and a commitment to great service.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely operate company or facility vehicles to transport residents

Assist elderly clients in and out of vehicles when needed

Follow scheduled routes and adapt to changes in real time

Ensure vehicle cleanliness and perform regular safety checks

Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and incident reports

Communicate with care staff to ensure timely pickup and drop-off

Observe and report any changes in a client’s condition or behavior during transit
Qualifications:

Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record

High school diploma or equivalent
-
CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)

Previous experience transporting seniors or individuals with disabilities (preferred)

Patience, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills

Ability to lift, support, or assist elderly passengers with mobility challenges

Knowledge of local roads and basic vehicle maintenance

Must pass background check, drug screening, and TB test (per facility requirements)
