Role Overview:

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented cleaner to help with general cleaning in private homes and rooms within our elderly community. This role is all about keeping spaces fresh, tidy, and comfortable while being respectful and professional around residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• General cleaning of rooms and common areas (dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming)

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors)

• Wipe down surfaces (tables, counters, doors, light switches)

• Take out trash and replace liners

• Light kitchen cleaning (wipe counters, clean sink, basic tidying)

• Change bed sheets and make beds (if requested)

• Restock basic supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap)

• Follow a cleaning checklist and complete tasks on time

• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns

• Be respectful, professional, and mindful of residents’ privacy

Qualifications:

• Experience with general cleaning (home, office, or facility) preferred

• Reliable, on-time, and able to work independently

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

• Able to follow instructions and use a cleaning checklist

• Comfortable working around elderly residents in a respectful way

• Able to stand, bend, and lift light items during the shift

• Good communication and a positive attitude

• Willing to wear gloves and follow basic sanitation/safety rules

• Background check required 

• Valid ID and work authorization
